The Y29 seal is a rugged corrosion-fighting Teflon bellows seal designed for today's hardest-to-handle process fluids.

Outside mounted Teflon bellows seals are the simple cost-effective solution to seal problems caused by corrosive media and/ or corrosive environments.

Virgin Teflon bellows with glass-filled Teflon ends is chemically inert. Flexible bellows accommodate shaft run out without need for trouble-prone sliding elastomers. Shaft fretting and seal hang-up are completely eliminated. Bellows and ends are fused together and machined as one piece providing unitized integrity.

Calcium fluoride-filled Teflon available on special order for hydrofluoric acid service.

Special grade corrosion-resistant Carbon faces are supplied for most media. Faces can be lapped to optically measured, extremely close limits of flatness not possible with glass-filled Teflon.

Silicon Carbide faces available for abrasive media and any highly corrosive media.

A high purity ceramic clamped seat guards against corrosive action.

Simple removable face design for replacement of worn seal faces.
