LI / L2 seals arc rotating multi spring unbalanced seals for use in industrial process pumps in the chemical, pharma, petrochemical/ thermal power plants.

Throughout its pressure range the seal provides a secure and economical solution to a wide range of sealing duties.

Salient features:

  • Can be installed in narrow stuffing boxes in pumps as per ISO 3069 and DIN 24960.
  • Seal faces are designed and optimized using CAE for minimum heat generation, thus the seal can work in the liquids at temperatures very close to their boiling points
  • Drive to the seal ring is through a special clutch type arrangement, which enables the seal to take heavy torques.
  • Springs are housed in the drive collar and are exposed to the process media thus getting automatically cleaned by centrifugal forces.
