| The flexible element is stationary
and is isolated from shaft vibrations, thus there is no shaft
wear and seal can be used for higher speeds.
The seal is externally mounted. Springs and pin are on the
atmospheric side. Avoids the use of exotic metallurgies even
in case of corrosive liquids.
Crystallizing media & slurries do not cause seal hang-up.
For abrasive liquids both hard faces are used.
