The Type P23 & P24 seals are sturdy multispring balanced Pushcr Seals catering to most of the heavy duty process pump applications.

Salient features:

  • Enables handling of the abrasive and corrosive liquids, retaining the basic design philosophy of multi spring seals. Exotic compatible metallurgy for hardware is available.
  • Wedge or 'O' Rings allow lower spring loads and a cooler running seal, thus shaft fretting is minimized.
  • The rotary face is shrink fitted in metal shcll thereby giving additional advantage of offering both hard faces.
  • The springs are fully immersed in the process fluid, hence do not get clogged because of the centrifugal forces.
  • Positive lug drive mechanism provides excellent torque transmission.
  • Can be provided as an engineered cartridge construction in single, double or tandem arrangements with a complete range of auxiliary scaling devices and seal support systems.
  • For use in double seals where maintaining barrier fluid pressures cannot be assured, reverse balanced seals P31 are the ideal solution.
